Finally 20!

Today marks a month since I turned 20! It was so nice to be back home in Ireland this year for my birthday, because for my past few birthdays I was in Spain, so I couldn’t wait to catch up with friends here to celebrate.

I decided to throw a small birthday dinner as a chance to catch up with some of my favourite girls, and it was so much fun. I always find that I’m really lazy when it comes to organising birthday celebrations for myself so this year I made sure to make more of an effort, because I knew I would regret it if I didn’t. I mean, you only turn 20 once, right?

I kept it close to home, and decided to go with Ollie’s Place in Skerries as the location for the meal. I’d heard a lot of great things about the place, and so thought it would be nice to give it a try! The atmosphere was fantastic and I loved the decor, but I was a little disappointed when I arrived because they said that food stopped serving at 8pm, and that’s the time I booked the table for! If I’m honest, that stressed me out a little, but I wasn’t told that would be the case when I made my reservation so thankfully they worked around it 🙂

The most important thing to me, was spending time with my friends – plus I must say that the food was amazing, so it ended up being a fabulous night!
