Hey guys! The week has finally come! Tomorrow I’ll be competing in the Miss Universe Ireland final and I am so excited for it! I can’t believe how quickly the month has gone by. I’ve been working really hard in the build up to it and I feel that the whole process has taught me so much about myself, and pageantry in general.

If you had said to me 5 years ago that I’d be participating in Miss Universe Ireland I never would have believed you. My health issues completely took over my teenage years, and as a result my confidence was non-existent. However, I ended up becoming really interested in the power of one’s mind and how we can develop ourselves as individuals, which really helped me to get myself back on track.

I’m a big believer that you can achieve anything that you want to achieve once you set your mind to it and commit yourself to the idea, however, it’s not always easy. I’ve faced a lot of ups and downs in my life and to think that I am a finalist in such an incredible competition is really overwhelming to me. I am so grateful for the opportunity and I can’t wait to fully immerse myself in the experience and see what’s to come.

I thought these images were the ideal compliment to the post today. I shot them months ago on my way to a secret event in Dublin where Conor Maynard performed which turned out to be a pretty fun evening and one that I thoroughly enjoyed.
