LA, Baby
LA, baby.
What can I say – LA, you have my heart. I’ve been back from the USA for just over a week now and I’m finally back into the swing of things. I don’t usually struggle with it, but the jet lag hit me hard on this trip! I’m off again tomorrow for a weekend of networking, learning and catching up with some of my business coaches in another great city. Unfortunately there won’t be much sunshine but I’m looking forward to returning as it’s a city I truly love, and I’m sure I’ll find some time to enjoy the city’s ambience. ๐
The purpose of my trip to LA was to attend Mega Success, one of the world’s biggest business events put together by my coach, the world’s #1 wealth coach, JT Foxx. I had the pleasure of hanging out with celebrities and business tycoons including Charlie Sheen & Hugh Hilton, as well as meeting and connecting with some truly incredible entrepreneurs, with 2500 entrepreneurs coming together from 71 countries, and I learned so much from the experience.
The idea of working wherever, whenever, is something that has always fascinated me. For those of you that know my story, you’ll know that I’ve certainly not had a traditional experience when it comes to my education. I struggled with really ill-health during my teens which led to a long period of me trying to figure out how I was going to move forward with my education and life as a whole. I started my entrepreneurial journey unknowingly when I was 13 and decided to start my first blog, which opened so many doors for me. I really believe that was a pivotal moment for me because had I not started blogging, I never would have started online marketing and so would not be writing this write now, or having the experiences I have been lucky enough to have recently.
I’ve worked diligently this year to expand my knowledge base and get around like-minded individuals who are more successful than I am, so that I can grow and serve in the best way possible. If you had said to me 5 years ago that I would be working from my laptop and travelling to places like LA for work trips, I never would have believed you, and so I’m extremely thankful that I was able to overcome the setbacks I faced.
I’ve had an education like no other and I’m now working with coaches who are helping me refine my vision and accelerate my business growth. 2017 was an unforgettable year for me, and I cannot wait to see what 2018 has in store.
Anyway, whatever your goals are, don’t give up on them. Whether you are 10 steps away from your dream or 100, just keep pushing forward. If you put in the work and do so strategically, anything is possible. I know that may sound cheesy to some but I really believe it.
I rounded out my trip by spending some quality time with amazing American cousins of mine, and they were kind enough to put up with me when it comes to documenting my trip. I couldn’t leave LA without a couple of photos underneath the palm trees haha, so I hope you like these photos. ๐
Feel free to follow this weekend’s adventure over on my Instagram (@HannahHawkshaw) here. I’m super pumped to share it with you ๐
Until next time!
xoxo,
Hannah
