Back From LA: What’s Coming Up
I’ve been back in London for almost a week now after an incredible 10 days of business, networking & exploring in Los Angeles. I was there for one of the biggest entrepreneurial conferences of the year called Mega Success, hosted by JT Foxx, with special guests including Brooke Shields, Dr. Phil, Michael Douglas, Charlie Sheen & Mel Gibson.
It was a busy week and half to say the least, and on this occasion, I really felt the jet lag upon my return! I was exhausted but full of energy & ideas at the same time. It was my second time at Mega Success (I also went last year) and it was amazing. I love nothing more than spending time with other entrepreneurs who have the same passion as I do, and this week brought together some truly incredible people…
I didn’t take too many photos during the event because I was so immersed in the experience, but I did have a couple of days to enjoy LA after, staying in West Hollywood with some business friends, and what a fun time we had!
While we were there, we got to experience a live filming of the Dr. Phil show! Super cool. We couldn’t film or photograph inside the studio, but it was a wonderful experience to see him in action after listening to him speak at Mega Success. Maybe you’ll spot me in the background of an episode soon ๐
I had a multiple particularly interesting conversations & made some great new connections that I’m really looking forward to developing, but now it’s time to prepare for another crazy month that will include 3 more trips.
Tomorrow I’m off to Germany for 3 days with a client of mine, where we’ll be developing a corporate marketing plan. Long term planning is what I’m most passionate about when it comes to marketing, because for me, that’s really when the magic happens. It’s a combination of a today strategy AND a tomorrow strategy (a.k.a. a short term and long term plan mapped out with clearly defined actions) that really leads to the best results in my opinion, and so I know it will be a productive few days.
After that, I’ll be back in London for a few days before heading to South Africa for some engagements, but more on that later.
It’s been such a crazy year. I journal for myself but I’ve missed documenting everything on my blog. Blogging is what kickstarted my entire career in marketing, and the fact that we can each create our own platform, a small place to call our own online that can literally change & impact the world, is quite amazing.
I’ve been pretty active over on Instagram lately (click here @HannahHawkshaw) but blogging is something I will be incorporating into my life again. I don’t know how frequently, but I’m going to commit to sharing what’s happening: the highs and the lows, in the hopes of encouraging you on your entrepreneurial journey, and perhaps even the one you’re yet to start ๐
Until next time… See you in Germany!
