First Time In Paris

Made it to Paris! It’s my first time in the city of love and I can see why it’s called that, because I’ve already fallen in love with the place! I’m here for 3 days of intense networking, learning and meetings (plus some exploring too), and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store.

I flew in yesterday from Cardiff, Wales, after delivering my signature program, The Ultimate Brand Workshop, in collaboration with IntroBiz. It was my second time in Cardiff, after speaking at an IntroBiz event in March, and it was fabulous to return. The response from the attendees was fantastic, and each walked away with a lightbulb moment and a strategy to refresh their business brand to fulfil its true potential. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’ll have a video to share next week, so watch out for that.

I always feel so invigorated working with entrepreneurs who have a real passion for what they do, who have a message that needs to be shared and a vision that they are building towards.

Watch out for more updates here on the blog, and follow the adventure in Paris on Instagram… @HannahHawkshaw… I’m posting a lot over there! Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you drive your vision forward ❤️

Wishing you a great weekend,

Hannah Kathleen xo

South Africa: Nelson Mandela, Global Citizen’s Concert & Exploring Durban

After 8 busy days in South Africa, I’m back in London for 3 days before heading off on the next adventure. It was a crazy week to say the least, jam packed with events & tourist activities, and my first time on the African continent 🙂

The first event in question was the Forever Young Ball 2018, which took place at the Mandela family estate in Johannesburg, and featured keynote speakers including Madiba’s daughter, Dr. Mandela & supermodel, Naomi Campbell. It was fascinating to hear them as they recounted memories & stories from their time spent with Nelson Mandela. He was a great man, devout to his cause, and it’s evident that he left a huge mark on the world. I feel truly honoured to have been there and am grateful to my good friend, Lorenzo Escobal, for inviting me to go with him.

This was then followed by a private event, again at the Mandela family home, to celebrate World Aid’s Day, which was hosted by Mandela’s grandson, Ndaba Mandela, and included guests such as music legend, Sir Bob Geldof, a fellow Irishman. I had the pleasure of chatting with him later on in the evening, after we had all participated in a traditional African drumming session, and to my delight, he told me how he noticed I had great rhythm. As a singer/songwriter, I was flattered to say the least! After all, he’s a legend in his own right. 🙂

The next day, we attended the Global Citizen’s Concert in Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium, and wow, what a lineup! I was blown away by the icons featured, with performances from artists including Beyoncé & Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, Usher & Stormzy. Even Oprah popped in to give a speech before Beyoncé and Jay Z took to the stage… It was a one-of-a-kind gig, that’s for sure!

In the days that followed, I had the pleasure of visiting Durban & also enjoying a safari trip where I got to experience the African wildlife in person. This trip will be ingrained in my memory for the rest of my life… I’m still reflecting on all that happened and feel incredibly grateful that I’ve gotten to live these moments.

Now I’m preparing for my next trip, which will take me to The Caribbean. It will be my first time in this part of the world and I’m super pumped! It’s going to be a huge trip for me personally and I really can’t wait to share why…

Until next time,
Hannah Kathleen xo

3 Days of Marketing Strategy in Germany

This week I was in Germany for 3 days of meetings & strategy planning with a corporate client. It was my first time visiting Baden-Baden and I loved the atmosphere (though most of my time was spent at the hotel where we were all staying). I love working with great people, and the team in question is made up of some truly wonderful minds.

Quick selfie once we wrapped up!

Business is one of my greatest passions, and talking big vision really invigorates me. We had a particularly productive couple of days and I’m really looking forward to seeing the entire plan implemented over the next few months.

Presenting Ideas to the Team

Now I’m back in London for a few days before heading to South Africa on Wednesday. I’m SO excited as this will be my first trip to Africa!! It’s going to be a busy 8 days but there will also be some time to relax (for a change), which I know is going to be thoroughly enjoyable.

It’s also nice to have my Mum here in London with me until Tuesday. She’s actually started working with me now on some projects and so we’re taking the time to plan & prepare for what’s coming up, which I’ll be able to share more about soon.

Right now I’ve got to finish packing though… I love travelling but the process of packing and unpacking is not my favourite activity, lol. Wish me luck!

xoxo,

H
